This is a True Story

I would like to start by saying:
This is a true story.

I will begin.

My room has no heat, or at least it feels that way.  I brought this issue to my father's attention, and he responded by saying that this is simply untrue.  He continued to say that my room does, in fact, have heat, and the heat is controlled by the same thermostat that controls the heat in my parents' room.  He explained that my room feels "cold"
because it loses something like 74% of its heat through the floor because the garage beneath is very frigid and needy and also quite selfish.  My dear father concluded his micro-lecture by saying I should "quit my complaining", because he had, months earlier, plugged in a space heater next to my dresser.
Ordinarily, I would "comply" and I would "stop belly-aching", BUT with recent temperatures consistently below zero, the space heater does little to promote a liveable and sleepable environment in my bedroom.  Each time I walk through t
he door it is like embarking on a new Arctic voyage.  After a few nights of experimentation, I finally found a relatively effective blanket layering method.  It goes like this: the bottom layer is a bedsheet, followed by a fleece blanket, followed by a down comforter, followed by a quilt.  I have found though, that this situation does nothing to solve the problem of frozen ears and nose, and the circulation in my feet still could not compensate for the frigid nature of the "bottom of the covers" portion of my bed.

On a lighter note,
I watched Blue Velvet yesterday.

Kyle MacLachlan is Sooo tuggable in this movie
by the way I wasn't joking
